XOXO Gossip Girl - On Location TV and MovieTours Giveaway

Like most New Yorkers, I seem to go to major tourist attractions when family and friends come to visit. Life happens, right?

That is why I was thrilled that On Location Tours, NYC's TV and Movie Tour Company offered me tickets to go on one of their tours. And because I love (XOXO) Gossip Girl, I jumped at the chance to see actually see all the locations where the show is filmed. Yes, I know what you are thinking, what is she a 15? I care not what you think, I am addicted to Chuck Bass.

What I liked about the tour is that they take you all over Manhattan which I did not expect since I thought it would focus on the upper east but the tour really gives you a flavor of the city and the diversity which you knew about but actually see.The tour started at the New York Palace hotel on Madison Avenue, the "home of Serena Van derWoodsen and the Bass Family" and ended on the lower east side at Babycakes.

The tour also stops at key Gossip Girl locations for you to get your photo op at such iconic locations like the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Henri Bendels and Cafe Habana, just to name a few. Take it from a New Yorker, it was nice to visit places I most likely would not visit on my own, like the Museum of the City of New York which serves as the front of the school on the show.

Our tour guide, Meghan enhanced the entire experience. She was enthusiastic, bubbly and really enjoyed giving us the inside scoop, with a tad bit of Gossip Girl snark, of course. My kind of New Yorker even though she's from Los Angeles. I also liked that they showed clips from the show to jar our memories. I love the show but there is no way I could remember all the locations.

Gossip Girl trivia: Did you know that Lindsey Lohan was supposed to play Blair Waldorf?

If Gossip Girl is not of one your most watched shows, On Location Tours has a tour that will definitely appeal to you. There is the flagship TV & Movie tour, the famous Sex & the City Tour, the Sopranos Tour (who doesn't want t to visit the real life bada bing) and a walking tour of Central Park Movie Sites.

On Location Tours is providing two lucky www.newyorkcitysinglemom.com readers two tickets
on tour of their choice.
