Listening to your Feedback About the Focus of My Site

I just read some posts on from my Friday posting for Zhu Zhu Pets which really upset me. Since starting my site, I have been surprised at the number of events that I am asked to attend as well as the number of products I am ask to review.

When I started my site it was never my intention to get free products or get invited to parties. I started my site to talk about my life living in New York City as a single mom.

I love that people are even remotely interested in what I have to say and I truly I value your interest in my site. I want to have the site go back to primarily focusing on my life. Trust me, my friends have also given me feedback that my site is too product driven lately.

I hope you stick around as I muddle my way through over the next couple of weeks in getting more of a balance that is more focused on my daughter and me and little on product reviews.

It is hard to find a balance. It's surprising how many people want you to do reviews once you start doing them. I hope you can find a good balance!

I am not kidding that it really bothered me. I am pretty sure what I am planning to do is create another site that is just product reviews/giveaways. At the end of the day, while I cant be all things to all people, there are plenty of folks who are interested in both so I can give them both while keeping those interested in my life coming back.

Thanks for the feedback
