Jack Kemp was one Republican on both sides of the aisle who was well liked

Jack Kemp, former congressman and Buffalo Bills quarterback died yesterday at the age of 73. Jack Kemp stands out in mind because he was the former Secretary of  Housing and Urban Develpment while my father worked there. 

My father, stauch Democrat always said that Jack Kemp was truly a decent man with morals and if would actually vote for. 

 Sadly, being a  well-liked and a nice politician will not get you the President or Vice Presidential nod.
