Happy Father's Day

Every year since my father died in 1993, I say a little prayer. 

Usually, it is a quick prayer to thank him for doing the best he could to raise my siblings and me. He was a good dad but it was another time and I can honestly, say I had a pretty good childhood.  We weren't poor but we sure weren't rich.  My childhood is for another post or frankly a book. 

That said, I  wish my dad was still here to be a part of my life. So many things he missed out, seeing me graduate from business school, buying my first apartment, and most of all meeting his granddaughter.
