Martha Stewart Show - #Blog Show

Powered by Whrrl

Check out all the photos from the Martha Stewart Show. For you lazy one stop shoppers, I posted two photo highlights below.

The theme was bloggers. With the exception of Alexis Stewart (Martha's daughter) and her Sirius radio partner Jennifer Hoppelman-Hutt of the whatevergirls (no link love here), I enjoyed all the bloggers. Martha's daughter  never smiled and was snarky but not in a good way. I would have preferred all the bloggers be new. Martha's daughter does not need exposure, she has a radio show she can promote her blog. The other bloggers were so obviously excited to be there and it showed.

I briefly visited the sites of the featured bloggers and must admit they are pretty fantastic. I am looking forward to digging deeper and following them going forward.

Check them out.

"Martha Moments" creator Andrew Ritchie details all things Martha.

"Cooking School" chronicler Jeff Blumenkrantz ("Jeff and Martha") - Jeff writes Julie and Julia style about cooking his way through Martha Stewart cooking school book.

"Chez Pim" author Pim Techamuanvivit is a foodie and her sites is devoted to food/her travels and recipes. She has written book The Foodie Handbook: The (Almost) Definitive Guide to Gastronomy

The pre show and after show was a lot of fun because I ran into tons of bloggers I knew and met some new ones.

Martha was wearing these 6 inch YSL stillettos.

It was the talk of the show. She said they were on sale and actually comfortable. As always say about these type of shows, they are meant to be worn between your taxi/car service and the event. They are meant to be seen not walking on the street.

I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to say hi yesterday, but definitely saw you there! I have a picture (although a bit blurry) or you asking Martha your question. Have to try Whrl or something. Hope you have a wonderful bday dinner!

Awesome recap! I agree, it would have been so nice if she'd also featured newer, unexposed bloggers (like the girl with the website dedicated to her). THanks for posting these links though - you rock! I wasn't able to get that information, so I'm looking forward to checking out their blogs too (I loved Andrew - he was too cute).

I wish I could have joined you all for brunch. But as always, sooo great to see you, and can't wait to hang out again! ((hugs))
